Olivia joined JK in 2020 as an Associate Attorney and is now an integral part of JK’s Employee Benefits practice.
Olivia’s practice focuses on plan management, including subrogation and reimbursement matters and Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) administration. She also assists clients on plan design issues, drafting plan documents and participant communications as well as advising clients on benefits claims and disputes.
Olivia received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2019. During law school, Olivia served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she further developed her research and writing skills.
Olivia wholeheartedly believes JK works for working people, helping deserving individuals and their families. In addition to gaining a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and administration of employee benefit plans, she’s privileged to witness the effects this work has on clients and their participants.
