Adam Y. Decker

Since joining Johnson + Krol as an associate attorney in 2020, Adam has been actively engaged in the firm’s Litigation practice. His focus has been on pursuing and effectively recovering unpaid benefits for Taft-Hartley funds and the union workers they represent. His legal skills encompass achieving payment resolutions through well-crafted demand letters, adeptly navigating complex discovery, negotiating favorable settlements, handling post-judgment collections, and strategically advocating for clients in both federal district courts and state court proceedings.

Adam received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2017 and graduated from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2020. While in law school, Adam broadened his legal experience by interning for the IU Foundation, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and the City of Bloomington.

In 2023, Adam was honored with the Young Professionals Scholarship from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans International and the Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

As a native Hoosier, Adam recognizes the importance of Taft-Hartley funds for the hardworking men and women of Indiana and throughout the nation. With this in mind, he aims to ensure that these workers receive the benefits they deserve by working diligently for J+K’s clients.
