MaryKate M. Hresil

MaryKate Hresil’s passion, dedication, and wealth of labor experience make her an ideal fit as a Johnson + Krol associate. Driven since childhood by the desire to become a lawyer, MaryKate found her true calling in labor law during her time clerking on behalf of public labor unions in both Illinois and Indiana.  

As the daughter and niece of union workers, MaryKate has a deep appreciation for the role of labor and the trades. She looks forward to using everything she learned in the public sector as she dives even deeper into private labor law. MaryKate’s mission is to be the lawyer unions trust and turn to, no matter the issue at hand. 

MaryKate holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Labor and Employment Law Certificate. The practical experience she gathered as a staff attorney with the Metropolitan Alliance of Police makes her a valuable asset to our team. 

Outside her professional life, MaryKate has a love for reading, exploring Chicago, and spending time with friends and family.
