Jamie VandenOever was drawn to the legal field by a deep desire to help others find their voice in spaces that often feel overwhelming. A Chicago-area native with roots in a family of military, law enforcement, and tradespeople, Jamie brings a strong work ethic, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to advocacy. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has worked across diverse areas of law, always striving to be a resource for those in need.

Graduating early and with honors, Jamie approaches every case with grit, attention to detail, and a dedication to doing the right thing—for her clients and her community. Jamie brings that same level of dedication to the Employee Benefits practice division, where her focus includes subrogation, reviewing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), as well as benefit claims and disputes to ensure the rights and financial security of union workers.

Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, creating art, and exploring Chicago’s parks with her rescue dog, Misty.
