Elishua is committed to supporting the clients who build our communities and rely on strong legal protection to safeguard the benefits they’ve earned. The child of Romanian immigrants who put down roots in suburban Chicago, he saw how hard it can be for working people to navigate complicated systems without clear guidance, a perspective that continues to shape his practical, protective, and people-first approach to the law.

Elishua has hands-on experience with workers’ rights, employment disputes, and litigation support. While attending Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, he worked with clients on wage disputes, employment violations, immigration matters, and trafficking-related cases, often alongside federal agencies like the Department of Labor and the EEOC to help enforce worker protections. His work with the Marion County Public Defender’s Agency strengthened his courtroom skills and reinforced his belief that effective advocacy is built on preparation, precision, and a deep understanding of client needs.

Before entering the legal profession, Elishua built a distinguished career in music. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Butler University, receiving multiple awards for orchestral excellence, and remains closely connected to the Indianapolis music community. A former teaching fellow and internationally touring musician, he brings discipline, collaboration, and attention to detail to his legal practice.

Outside the office, Elishua enjoys hiking national parks, bird watching, and taking part in cultural events.
