Karsyn M. Kratochvil

Since joining the firm as an associate attorney in 2022, Karsyn has been diligently engaged in the Litigation practice, successfully securing settlements for union workers that safeguard their agreed-upon compensation and benefits. Karsyn also works on ERISA and labor litigation, representing Taft-Hartley clients in lawsuits involving the collection of unpaid contributions in state and federal courts.

Prior to joining J+K, Karsyn received her bachelor’s degree from Coastal Carolina University. She then attended and graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2022. While attending law school, Karsyn participated in the Trial Advocacy Program and was accepted onto the Arbitration and Mock Trial teams. She also worked as a clerk in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office felony trial division, honing her research and writing skills.
