Mary M. Lindmark

In September 2026, when Hammond and Shinners joined J&K, Mary Lindmark joined the team in an Of Counsel role.  Mary has over 30 years of experience in the area of employee benefits law under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Mary has dedicated her legal career to advising jointly administered employee benefit plans, earning the trust of labor organizations and plan trustees. Mary has focused her practice on the complex legal and regulatory issues affecting collectively bargained multiemployer benefit pension, health and welfare, and other Taft-Hartley benefit plans. She advises boards of trustees on fiduciary responsibilities, plan administration, regulatory compliance, governance, and a broad range of issues affecting jointly administered employee benefit funds. She has extensive experience in establishing and maintaining pension and welfare plan and trust documents. Her thoughtful counsel and practical solutions have made her a trusted advisor to benefit plan clients throughout the region.
