Natalya J. Cross

Natalya Cross brings a dynamic blend of litigation experience as an Associate at Johnson + Krol’s Indianapolis office. Sparked into a career in law by her childhood determination to seek justice, Natalya’s legal journey has seen her build on foundations in criminal and civil litigation to represent J+K’s benefit fund clients in a wide variety of litigation in both federal and state courts.

As a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Hamilton, Indiana, she sat first chair in both bench and jury trials and negotiated countless plea deals. Prior to that, she worked as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Indiana’s Department of Workforce Development, where she heard and issued opinions for unemployment insurance appeals, including one opinion that was affirmed by the Indiana Court of Appeals. Natalya also has experience conducting written discovery and depositions, as well as litigating subrogation issues.

Natalya’s favorite aspect of working at Johnson + Krol is the vibrant community and the opportunity to immerse herself deeply into labor law and the rewards it brings. Outside of work, she often volunteers as a foster parent, travels with her family, and enjoys riding and caring for her horse.
